Kristine Denman, Director of the New Mexico Statistical Analysis Center (SAC) at ISR, was recognized in January by the United States’ Attorney’s Office (USAO) for the District of New Mexico for her work on Project Safe Neighborhoods. The USAO lauded Ms. Denman’s work stating that her "comprehensive research and reports have assisted the U.S. Attorney's Office and its law enforcement partners in identifying crime patterns in Indian Country and throughout the District." She was also commended for "exemplary service that enables the U.S. Attorney's Office and its law enforcement partners to develop and promote outreach efforts that support gun and gang violence reduction strategies."
