ISRs Statistical Analysis Center Wins National Award

Kristine Denman, Director of the New Mexico Statistical Analysis Center (SAC) at ISR, received the Douglas Yearwood National Publication Award from the Justice Research and Statistics Association (JRSA). Mrs. Denman and her research team received the award in the Research and Policy Analysis category for a small SAC for their report titled “Prison Program Utilization and Recidivism among Female Inmates in New Mexico”. The award recognizes outstanding efforts by Statistical Analysis Centers to apply empirical analysis to criminal justice policy making in the states.
