The Albuquerque Journal recently reported on a study underway at ISR that will look at APD's use of lapel cameras.  The study will review data related to lapel cameras including the relationship between the number of minutes of video and computer assisted dispatch (CAD) data.  However, the study will not include reviewing video footage as previously reported in the Journal article. The final report will include suggestions on how APD can audit officers' use of lapel cameras and what improvements can be made to APD's current policy.
