Bio
Reanna Chavez is a Research Scientist 3 at the Center for Applied Research and Analysis (CARA) at the Institute for Social Research (ISR).
She received her M.A. in Psychology from Regis University in 2018.
She has worked in various capacities at the UNM Health Sciences Center utilizing quantitative and qualitative research methods to evaluate population health, behavioral measurement, and health disparities in New Mexico communities.
Reanna’s work and research interests at ISR focus on various components of the Department of Behavioral Health Services’ Behavioral Health Initiative.
As a Native New Mexican, she is passionate about New Mexican traditions, red and green chile, and the communities she serves.
Outside of work Reanna enjoys playing the piano and ukulele, spending time with her dogs and family/friends, and snowboarding.
