Bio

Ms. Cairo has worked on many projects at NMSC, some of them being on Earned Meritorious Deductions, Length of Stay in NM detention centers, and the Prison Population Profile. While completing her undergraduate coursework, she worked with UNM's Anderson Behavioral Lab and UNM's Center on Alcoholism, Substance Use, and Addictions (CASAA). She has research interests in criminal justice, substance use, behavioral health, and public policy.
