Kristine Denman
Kristine Denman is the Director of the New Mexico Statistical Analysis Center. She has 20 years of experience in both research and evaluation. Prior to her recent promotion to Director of the SAC, she was the lead researcher on numerous projects for various agency partners at the city, state and federal levels. Besides her work with the SAC, she has partnered with the New Mexico Sentencing Commission on a number of projects. Her evaluation work has focused on criminal justice work as well as educational programs, often using a mixed-methods approach. Work on which she has been lead evaluator has been nationally recognized.

Ms. Denman has experience in both formative and summative assessments and emphasizes a participatory approach to evaluation. Examples of recent evaluations include:
- A Department of Justice funded firearm reduction program
- A Bureau of Justice Statistics funded evaluation of a prisoner reentry initiative
- A National Science Foundation funded program that provides internship and mentoring to undergraduate Engineering students
- A National Science Foundation funded program that provides research opportunities to undergraduate engineering students
- A National Science Foundation funded program that provides interdisciplinary education and research training to graduate students in nanotechnology
