Alise O’Connell is a Research Scientist at the Center for Applied Research and Analysis (CARA). She previously worked for ISR as an undergraduate student and upon completion of her B.A. in Criminology and Psychology in 2021 from the University of New Mexico, she was hired on as full-time staff. Her primary area of research is the criminal justice system working closely with the Bernalillo County Metropolitan Detention Center as well as the Metropolitan and District courts. Outside of work Alise likes to spend her time reading, crafting, and watching horror films.
